French bee recommends a few simple precautions to help you and your little one enjoy a smooth and comfortable journey:
Avoid traveling with a newborn within the first 7 days after birth.
If your baby has a cold or nasal congestion, it’s best to postpone your trip.
Bring enough bottles and your child’s usual food for the entire duration of the flight.
Pack all essential changing items (diapers, wipes, cotton, etc.).
Make sure your baby or child drinks regularly during the flight to stay hydrated.
Before departure, check that your child has all the required documents for border control, customs, and immigration in the destination country.
Don’t forget to bring your child’s health record and any necessary medication, especially if they are under treatment or prone to motion sickness.
Dress your child in comfortable, warm clothing (sweater, socks, etc.).
During takeoff and landing, offer a pacifier, bottle, teething ring, biscuit, or small candy to help relieve ear pressure.
